Project Time was a success for some, a waste of time for others. I knew it would be that way, but I still chose to do it. If we do it again, maybe you won't have as much time (20 minutes instead of 50). I need to quit trying to please everyone. But at the same time, I don't want to waste our time together.
Which brings us to Monday. At least 5 people said NO to project time on Monday. So maybe we'll do something different. One thing that is definitely missing from class is the WRITING JOURNAL. Seriously? I've done a writing prompt every day I've ever taught English 10 and Creative Writing and now all of a sudden we stop writing every day? Stupid. I think we're bringing the journal back on Monday. I'll send out a text so everyone knows about it.
HEY I KNOW WE"RE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A MINI SLAM FRIDAY BUT CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A VALENTINES DAY PARTY??? throwback to when we were kids and creative and none of us were bitter and we all got candy. anyways. maybe we should just discuss this in class, i don't know.
