Day 27 - Dysfunctional Family

We wrote about shoes, and we talked about upcoming poetry slams and jams and stuff, but mostly we just talked out our problems.

I got some stuff off my chest, and I took responsibility. Then I threw a desk. Then it got awkward. Then it got better. I don't know.

Then I wrote this.

Day 25 - Lifeguards

Hmmm. Well. Today we finished p. 9 (Gather Ye Rosebuds) and p. 10 (Draw a Poem).

Then we got into teams for Friday's Group Piece Mini-Slam / Dress Up Day.

Oh yeah, and we talked about my Lifeguards poem forever. Sorry.

But thanks.

Day 24 - Mixtapes

We exchanged Mixtapes and we spent some time stealing from the poetry books (WP#9 and WP#10).

Next time: Mini-slam (Poetry Book version).

Friday: Dress up (like what? We don't know yet).

Day 22 - More Than One Thing

We witnessed some more Projects.

Jess invited everyone to a special prom on May 1st. 

We sat in a big long table (I can't believe I didn't get a picture of that).

We talked about being more than one thing.

I bragged about Isaac (jock, writer, artist, AP student, etc.).

I read this.

We watched Mimi Knowles videos.

We watched Ed Sheeran videos.

We talked about the mixtape (due Monday).

We turned in journals.

I passed out copies of the poetry bracket you helped create. 

Next time: mini-slam.

We watched Eminem rhyme, we shared our insecurities, and we talked about our next project:

We drew names for the Mixtapes.
